Common Uses of Ginger Essential Oil

Ginger is a great all round oil all that combines easily with other essential oils in blends. It is useful as a skin, body and mind oil to help alleviate stress and reduce sickness.

Skin

Ginger essential oil is rich in antioxidants like phenolic compounds, which can help protect the skin from environmental damage caused by free radicals. It also contains high levels of Vitamin C, which helps reduce oxidative stress on the skin and prevents premature aging. Additionally, ginger essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce redness and inflammation caused by acne or other skin conditions.

Ginger essential oil can also help improve circulation in the skin, making it an ideal choice for those with dull or tired-looking complexions. When applied topically, ginger essential oil stimulates blood flow to the surface of the skin, giving it a healthy glow. Furthermore, its antiseptic properties make it effective against bacteria that may cause breakouts or other issues with bacterial overgrowth on the skin.

Finally, ginger essential oil has moisturizing properties that help keep your skin hydrated and nourished. Its fatty acids create a protective barrier on your face to lock in moisture and prevent dryness or irritation. It also helps boost collagen production which leads to firmer, smoother looking skin over time.

Mind

Ginger essential oil contains several compounds that help to reduce stress and anxiety levels. These compounds include gingerols and shogaols, which have calming effects on the mind and body. Additionally, these compounds can help to regulate serotonin levels in the brain, which can improve mood and reduce feelings of depression.

Body

Ginger essential oil also contains antispasmodic compounds that can help relieve tension headaches and muscle pain. This makes it a great choice for people who suffer from chronic neck or back pain due to stress or tension. The antispasmodic properties also make ginger essential oil an effective remedy for insomnia and other sleep problems caused by stress or anxiety.

Hair

Ginger essential oil has many beneficial properties that are great for your hair’s health and appearance. Here are just some of the ways this powerful oil can help you have healthier locks:

• Stimulates Hair Growth: Applying ginger essential oil to your scalp helps stimulate circulation and invigorate hair follicles, promoting healthy hair growth.

Promotes Hair Health & Shine: Ginger contains antioxidants that protect against free radicals and help strengthen your hair from within so that it looks vibrant and shiny on the outside. This makes it especially helpful in treating dry or damaged hair caused by environmental factors such as sun exposure or pollution.

Treats Scalp Issues: If you suffer from conditions such as dandruff or psoriasis, ginger can help treat them naturally without irritating your skin further or causing unwanted side effects like itching or burning sensations on your scalp. The antiseptic properties in ginger also help reduce inflammation and eliminate any bacteria or fungi that may be present on the scalp.

Aroma

Ginger blends well with Bay, Cajuput, Caraway, Cardamom, Cinnamom, Coriander, Clove, Elemi, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Lemon, Lime, Myrtle, Orange, Rosemary, Spearmint, Verbana.

Ginger oil really helps with me when I feel like being physically sick. I keep a bottle in my bathroom cabinet and just smell it whenever I feel sick and it takes the urge away. I've used a variety of Ginger oils this one is always consistent in scent and quality and quick delivery.
