Squalane is naturally derived from Olives and matches the skin's natural sebum. Squalane is used to impart softness and improve spreadability, being soluble in oil. Can be used exclusively in high end serums.

Squalane is completely odourless and combines very easily in oil blends and other cosmetic final products such as creams and lotions. Squalane can easily be emulsified into Shower Gels and Shampoos, especially face washes to improve feel and texture.

Skin Benefits of Squalane

1. Matches the natural sebum produced by the body

Because the body products a very similar substance in sebum, Squalane is easily absorbed and readily accepted by the body and skin.

2. Lightweight with effective Hydration

Squalane is very lightweight and does not weight the skin down. The natural composition matching the skins sebum so closely means that is penetrates deep into the skin.

3. Balances Oil Production

A natural oil balancing ingredient, Squalane brings relief to dry skin and calms over production of oil in oily skin.

4. Anti Oxidant and Fights Free Radicals

Squalane fights free radicals in our environment and gives skin antioxidant protection.

5. Anti Inflammatory

Squalane is naturally anti-inflammatory.

This is the best Squalane I have used in my skincare products. It transforms my face washes and creams and gives them a degree of luxury. Skin feels amazing after the addition of Squalane. Really good price on 1 litre sizes as well.

    Excellent serum ingredient

Posted by christian on 25th May 2019

This really does add extra quality to oil based serums. The feel of the serum is adjusted quite profoundly and experimentation with ratios is advised, as even half a percentage change can alter the texture of the serum. it's extremely good value and adds a perfect touch to final formulations. it's very absorbent and leaves the skin feeling amazing. Well worth trying out!
