Understanding your floral water
Floral waters are most commonly used as ingredients in toners and skincare products, used alongside Glycerines, Sorbates and Preservatives and this is the purpose we sell floral waters for.
Many people however use Floral waters as a toner direct on the skin and many choose Naturallythinking floral waters as uniquely we sell fresh floral water which is unpreserved, so you know it is 100% Pure.
Our waters are stored with UV light passing through and this keeps them fresh without chemical addition, however once you start using them at home, you will only have a 3 month shelf life on your floral water. We recommend if you are going to use your floral water directly on the skin you fulfill one of the following criteria
1) Natural Approach
Use a UV steralising pen (available at Millets and good camping shops (we personally love the Steripen)) before every use, this will keep you water bacteria free without the use of chemicals
2) Natural Preservative System
Add 0.1% Citric acid with 0.5% Sodium benzoate & Potassium sorbate when you receive your floral water, this will ensure you floral water lasts for 18 months.
