Wakame Rejuvenating Face Wash

Japanese Wakame is rich in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, moisturising and smoothing effects and is revered by locals for its anti-ageing and protecting properties.

Using Japanese Wakame as our base, we combine fresh and juicy limes with a hit of Peruvian Lime for a shot of freshness.

Ideal for use by those exposed daily to pollutants and daily grime, especially those that live in a city or dusty environment.

Wakame (L. Undaria pinnatifida) belongs to the Phaeophyceae, Laminariales plant family. It is a golden-brown kelp native to the Japanese Sea. Wakame is rich in sodium, iron, potassium, calcium (15x more than milk), vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 and fiber polysaccharides.

The most abundent enzyme in Wakame is Hyaluronic acid which is an important element of skin hydration and it is what gives the skin it’s look of vitality. Wakame has been trialed to prove it’s anti-elastase effects (inhibiting skins natural loss of elasticity due to ageing).

Application Directions

Gently wet your skin and apply the foaming face wash to your finger tips.

In a circular motion work across your face, starting with your nose and working out to the extremities.

Apply little pressure when applying, just allow your fingers to glide the foam over you skin. For best results follow with a Naturallythinking toner and moisturiser.

Received this wash today and couldn't wait to try it, the smell of the wash is amazing with a distinct but not overpowering aroma of lime. A little goes a long way and it left my skin feeling really fresh and clean.

Could not wait to wash my face after it arrived in the post with other items i purchased. At first i thought the bottle was quite small but it only takes a little. When i smelt it i could not bear to take it away from my nose. The lime is not overpowering and works well with the other ingredients, i am hooked on this.The texture is lovely and lightly foaming. If only this aroma could be bottled as a cologne, i would buy it by the bucket load. I will use this in the evening to remove makeup after using jojoba oil to take off the eye makeup.
