Body Butter Base
A glorious blend of Shea and Cocoa butters, double whipped to form a silky smooth butter which intensely moisturise's for 24 hour skin moisturisation and protection.
The butter can be used alone on sensitive skin or blended with other essential oils and carrier oils to create tailored skin care products.
The natural formula makes the butter base suitable for all skin types and it can also be used to make intense facial salves for problem skin or for particular purposes i.e. extreme facial skin protection in harsh climates such as the desert and alpine winters.
Our Body Butter base is ideal to use alone or to use combined with essential oils and/or carrier oils. It will also work combined with Fragrance oils, but that would be to ruin the truly natural magic of this product.
Normally body butter is used as a skin treat for daily protection and rejuvenation, however the butter can be used to help with skin ailments.
Blend with Chamomile and Geranium to use on problem skin areas, the blend of Chamomile and Geranium in body butter is perfect for psoriasis and eczema.
Suitable for all skin types and the body butter base can be tailored to individual skin types by the addition of essential oils and carrier oils.
The base is hypoallergenic and non irritating. The beautifully natural formula makes it highly effective without being abrasive.
The nature of body butter is to form a protective barrier on the skin, not only moisturising the skin, but locking in the skins natural moisture. This is great for dry skin, however for spot prone areas of the skin a lighter cream maybe more appropriate.
Blend a few drops of essential oil into the butter and stir hard, gradually adding more essential oil until the desired blend is achieved.
Blending will require vigorous stirring to ensure proper mixing and the body butter base will not blend by simply "shaking" the container.
Apply a pea sized amount of body butter base to the skin and smooth across... For the best results apply to slightly damp skin and allow the rich butter to be naturally absorbed.
When blending with essential oils, add 30 drops of essential oil per 100ml of body butter base. You can also use carrier oils, use up to 5% to further tailored the skin conditioning properties.
Remember the butter is thicker than most creams, so blending takes a little more effort... fold the essential oils into the butter as if you were making a cake for optimum results.

I am a beauty therapist and electrolysis. I retail these products to my clients, especially aftercare with electrolysis. This body butter is the best moisturiser I have ever used. As a privately trained therapist, I believe that the 'big houses' such as Channel, Estee Lauder, Clinique etc are successful because they are very cleverly and prolifically marketed. This cream leaves them standing!! Unfortunately, consumers believe if they have a 'pretty jar' and pay enormous amounts for silly little cups of cream then they are getting something better. As a very experienced beauty therapist I can attest that they are not. I'm delighted at last to be able to offer my clients Naturally Thinking products. Keep it coming!! Love it...

I bought a small pot of this a couple of years ago to make up some cream for my daughter to help ease her eczema. I added Lavender and Chamomile essential oils to it and her eczema cleared up brilliantly! I have also used it on my own skin and you really only need a small amount as it lasts really well. It isn't greasy at all and sinks into your skin easily leaving it moisturised. Great for overnight use too - I use it on my feet as I get cracked skin often there, no greasy bedsheets and feet lovely and soft in the morning! I'm back to buy a bigger pot now! :D

Been using various body moisturisers before trying this gem. Absorbs into skin effortlessly and it is non greasy.
Will definitely blend with some wonderful essential oils for presents to friends and family.

It looks at first sight that this cream would be heavy and greasy like most other body butters I have tried. However, once applied it absorbs easily and gives a super smooth silky finish.
My new favourite, just edging the nt latte cream.
