Carshalton Lavender Harvest Dates 2013

Carshalton is the home of English Lavender and the Surrey Downs give the Lavender a unique, rich, herbaceous scent which not only smells divine but is rich in natural therapeutic properties.

Each year the Harvest Event attracts thousands of visitors and is a fun day for all the family.

Carshalton Lavender is the Observer Ethical Award-winning community group that manages 3 acres of lavender fields on Stanley Road Allotments (SM5 4NQ) in Carshalton Beeches in the London Borough of Sutton.

You can pick your own Lavender and take part in the events of the day as well as see the Lavender Oil being distilled and turned into Lavender as it is harvested from the field. The Oil forms the basis of our Carshalton Lavender Bodycare products.

PRODUCTS

The full range of Original Carshalton Lavender™ products will be available for sale on the day, with some very special offers.

MASSAGE

10 minute Hand and Feet Massages will be available on the day in Original Carshalton Lavender™ Massage Oil or Original Carshalton Lavender™ Foot Crea. These will be £5 payable on the day.

OIL DISTILLATION

See the Lavender being distilled onsite, on the day. Lavender Essential Oil doesn't come fresher than this!

PICK YOUR OWN

You can pick your own bunches on the field and it is a fun and relaxing day out for the entire family.

Please bring scissors if you have them.

FOOD AND DRINK

An outside refreshment area, with hot and cold drinks and a family BBQ seating area.
