Aloe Vera Juice soothing, moisturising and healing, ideal for use on sunburn and mild burns

Aloe Vera Juice

Aloe Vera is a stemless plant growing to 60-100cm tall. The leaves are thick and fleshy green, and when cracked open, release the natural Aloe Vera Juice.

Aloe Vera is an evergreen perennial that originates from the Arabian Peninsula and grows wild in tropical, semi-tropical and arid climates worldwide.

Characteristics of Aloe Vera Juice

Aloe Vera Juice is the liquid extracted from the Leaf, containing the essential chemical compounds of the plant. The liquid has a neutral scent liquid, almost water-like.

Common Uses of Aloe Vera Juice

Aloe Vera is typically used topically for the treatment of the following ailments:

  • Skin irritation
  • Burns
  • Scalds
  • Sunburn
  • Wounds
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Acne
  • Dermatitis
  • Ulcers
  • To stimulate cell regeneration

The aloe juice can be applied topically to the skin as a softening agent.

Studies have confirmed that wounds treated with aloe heal faster than other injuries not treated with aloe vera.

Aloe Vera can be combined with other floral waters to prepare skin tonics. It blends exceptionally well with Lavender and Orange Blossom Floral Waters.

Aloe Vera Juice can be used to produce creams and lotions, replacing the water component to add the topical properties of the plant to the finished skincare product.

Aloe Vera Juice is famous for its inclusion in Shower Gels and Shampoos, which can be cold-processed into a finished product.

This is the best floral water to use as mask and very soothing. It helped massively applied on eczema, better than the gel.

very soothing and moisturizing, but smell not very nice ---- Naturallythinking Feedback Thanks for your comments. Aloe Vera does have a distinctive scent of it's own. Blend with other floral waters and essential oils or use in your own formulations to further tailor the skincare properties and create a scent that works for you :)
